At Cabinet Guard, we stand behind the quality of our products. Because Cabinet Guard is a professional-use security product, our policy is designed to be fair, clear, and practical for both our customers and our business.
Returns
Unopened Returns
We accept returns of unused, unopened products within 14 days of delivery.
To qualify for a return:
- The product must be unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging
- The tamper seal must be fully intact
- The product must be returned in resalable condition
- A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) must be approved in advance by Cabinet Guard
Approved unopened returns are subject to:
- A 15% restocking fee
- Return shipping costs paid by the customer, unless the return is due to our error
Opened or Installed Products
Products that have been opened, installed, used, or have a broken tamper seal are not eligible for return or refund.
Exceptions may apply only in cases of:
- Verified manufacturer defect
- Shipping damage
- Missing items
- Incorrect items shipped by Cabinet Guard
Damaged, Missing, or Dead-on-Arrival (DOA) Items
If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or not functioning upon arrival, you must notify us within the following timeframes:
- Shipping damage: within 5 days of delivery
- Missing items: within 7 days of delivery
- Dead-on-arrival (DOA) product: within 10 days of delivery
To process these claims, we may require:
- Order number
- Serial number
- Photos of packaging and product
- Video or description of the issue
Please retain all original packaging for shipping damage claims.
1-Year Limited Warranty
Cabinet Guard products are covered by a 1-year limited warranty from the date of delivery against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
If a product is determined by Cabinet Guard to be defective during the warranty period, we will, at our option:
- Repair the product, or
- Replace the product
This warranty is limited to the product itself and does not guarantee a refund.
Warranty Exclusions
This limited warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:
- Improper installation
- Misuse or abuse
- Unauthorized modification or repair
- Incorrect wiring or power connection
- Neglect, accident, or physical damage
- Exposure to water, fire, surges, or other external causes
- Cosmetic wear that does not affect functionality
Labor, Downtime, and Liability
Cabinet Guard's warranty covers the product only.
Cabinet Guard is not responsible for:
- Installation or removal labor
- Technician or service call charges
- Downtime
- Lost revenue
- Theft loss
- Business interruption
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Bulk, Custom, and Special Orders
All bulk, custom, distributor, OEM, and special-order purchases are final sale and are not eligible for return, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Return Authorization Required
No returns will be accepted without prior approval from Cabinet Guard.
Before sending anything back, customers must contact us to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Unauthorized returns may be refused.
Refund Timing
Approved refunds are issued only after the returned product is received, inspected, and approved by Cabinet Guard.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method, less any applicable restocking fees and shipping charges.
